Director

Kate is a Director at Watkins and Gunn. She works in our Family Law team, the winners of the Wales Legal Awards Family Law Team of the Year 2019, specialising in Childcare Law. She represents parents and children in both public and private Children Act proceedings.

Kate holds the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation, enabling her to act on behalf of children through their court-appointed guardians and parents involved in care proceedings.

She has experience of representing children and parents in complex cases involving jurisdictional issues, sex abuse and non-accidental injury.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined Watkins & Gunn in 2009.

The Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Member of the Association for Lawyers for Children Member of Resolution.
