Director

Joanne is an experienced family lawyer who has practised Family Law almost exclusively throughout her career. She is accredited as a Specialist in Family Law, Child Law, and as a Family Law Mediator, and is also trained as a Collaborative Family Lawyer.

She advises on a broad range of Family Law matters, including, Financial provision upon divorce and separation;  Cohabitee claims and cohabitation agreements; Pre- and post-nuptial agreements; Issues involving children, such as parental responsibilities and rights, residence, contact, and adoption.

Joanne regularly appears in the Sheriff Court and has acted as the instructing solicitor in cases brought before the Court of Session.

She finds great satisfaction in helping clients navigate what is often a difficult and emotionally challenging time in their lives.
