Nick combines over 10 years’ experience as a real estate lawyer at Clifford Chance with a further decade of hands-on property investment experience through his private family office. He brings a commercial, practical perspective as both an investor and a lawyer when working on transactions.

He has experience across the full spectrum of real estate matters, including investment, development, letting, property management and joint ventures.

Work Highlights

• Led his private family office, building and managing a substantial UK property portfolio, including sourcing and executing acquisitions, overseeing asset management and disposals, and working closely with advisors across legal, tax and financing matters.

• Advised a sovereign wealth fund on the £335m sale of an investment property via the sale of shares in an Asian holding company.

• Advised Menolly Group on the £124m sale of the holding company and General Partner interest in 107 Cheapside, London, involving a complex pre-completion reorganisation and cross-border tax, finance, corporate, real estate and construction issues.

• Advised Aerium Finance, a Luxembourg-based fund, on its acquisition of 40 Portman Square via a Jersey Property Unit Trust and the subsequent disposal of the units for approximately £180m to the Employee Provident Fund of Malaysia.
