Partner and Head of Agriculture

Catherine is a partner and head of the agriculture sector; she is also a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and the elected Secretary of the Lincolnshire Association of Agricultural Valuers.

In 2006 Catherine moved back to her Lincolnshire roots and joined the firm’s agricultural team. Catherine advises clients on the complexities of agricultural tenancies, particularly tenancies governed by the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. She also advises on whole farm sales and purchases concentrating on landed estate work. She is recognised for the excellent service she provides to several large estates and family farming businesses.

Catherine graduated from Lancaster University with a First Class Honours Degree in Law and was awarded a Law Society prize for achieving the highest marks in her year. She also graduated from St Catharine’s College at the University of Cambridge with a Masters in Law and completed her LPC with distinction at the College of Law in York. Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 2004 with a well known Cambridge firm of solicitors specialising in Rural Services.
