Senior Associate

Louisa Shilleto is a senior associate in the insolvency team, based at our Hull office.

Louisa is an expert in dealing with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency, and specialises in office-holder claims.

She often deals with complex recoveries, which includes unravelling trusts, uncovering shams, and dealing with Section 423 claims which concern transactions defrauding creditors.

Her role sees her representing a range of clients, including insolvency practitioners, directors of companies facing insolvency and directors defending claims, as well as creditors and funders.

Louisa is a member of the R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals, and she is a member of Women in Business Hull.

Louisa gained her degree at Hull University in 2021. After graduating, she moved to London to gain three years of experience in a small private practice, before returning back to East Yorkshire to qualify as a solicitor with the firm.
