Family

Samantha trained as a Solicitor at Weightmans and qualified in May 2023, having previously spent 8 months with the family department during her training contract and has with over 4 years’ litigation experience prior to qualification.

Samantha assists clients with all aspects of family law including:

• Divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships;

• Financial remedies upon separation;

• Cohabitation disputes;

• Pre and post nuptial agreements;

• Schedule 1 applications;

• Disputes regarding private children law; and

• Obtaining injunctions such as non-molestation and occupation orders.

Samantha is an active member of Resolution and is committed to dealing with family issues in a constructive and collaborative manner.

She was also the Chair of the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division in 2023, which she continues to be a part of.
