Robert is an experienced corporate transactions lawyer. His wide range of experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions deals on buy and sell side for a spread of clients including owner managed businesses, public companies, international businesses and institutions. Robert’s work has covered domestic and international M&A.
He also has expertise in private equity transactions, specialising in advising companies on raising development capital and management teams on a variety of management transactions, and also advising in relation to exits by PE investors.
Additionally, Robert advises on a broad range of other transactional and corporate structuring matters including joint ventures, shareholder agreements and various investment arrangements.
As well as acting for corporate clients Robert acts for entrepreneurs whose corporate activities require legal support. In delivering this he is able to draw on the range of client services that may be required when acting for individuals in the corporate arena including tax and estate planning.
Robert’s recent experience has included working with high-growth technology and IT businesses. The business areas of these clients has ranged from tier 1 software development projects to on-line retailers. He also has extensive experience advising R&D businesses. Through work with developing businesses in a wide range of areas, he has a good understanding of the issues and challenges which they face.
