Rafiul Habib is an expert in the banking and finance practice with 12 years of experience in the sector. Prior to joining Accord Chambers, Rafiul acted as the Head of Legal of National Finance Limited which is one of the major non-banking financial institution of Bangladesh. He also worked at Industrial Promotion and Development Company of Bangladesh, now IPDC Finance, which is the country’s first non-banking financial institution. Rafiul has thorough understanding of the laws and regulatory frameworks governing the banking and finance sector generally and debt financing & recovery in particular and frequently advises clients in complex financial transactions.

Rafiul frequently reviews credit facility agreements, mortgage and charge documents for banks and financial institutions as well as private clients and is also involved with credit recovery claims and negotiable instruments related matters. Rafiul also advises on foreign borrowing, ECA financing and debt structuring.
