Joshua is a corporate and commercial specialist, with clients ranging from listed companies, established SMEs and financial institutions, as well as early stage companies and venture capital firms, both local and overseas.

He regularly advises on a wide range of corporate matters, including venture capital fundraising, joint ventures, private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and capital structuring (including company share incentive schemes).

Joshua also regularly works with listed companies on the SGX and has advised and acted on initial and secondary public offerings, public takeovers and ongoing listing compliance.

On the commercial front, he advises businesses on both general matters such as commercial contracts and arrangements, employment law and commercial regulatory compliance, as well as more specialised matters such as franchising and licensing arrangements, online platform terms and conditions and privacy policies.

Joshua is also active in the financial services regulatory space. He frequently advises funds, crowdfunding platforms, e-payments service providers and virtual currency issuers and platforms.

Joshua began his practice as a corporate lawyer at TSMP Law Corporation, an award-winning boutique law firm, where he practiced for several years. Prior to joining Aquinas, Joshua was regional in-house legal counsel for honestbee, an e-commerce and logistics start-up with operations in over 8 cities across Asia. Capitalising on his experience and passion for business, Joshua is on the board of a digital solutions consultancy and acts as the company secretary for several businesses in Singapore.
