As one of leaders of DHH International Practice, Mr. Yao has ten years of experience in foreign investment, M&A transactions, private equity investment and overseas listing. He advised many leading companies in a number of industries and sectors, including Automobile, Medicine and Medical Equipment Production, Machinery Manufacture, Gas and Oil, Chemical, Hotel Management, IT and Consulting and Media.

Mr. Yao has represented foreign companies for M&A and FDI in PRC and participated in strategic planning and negotiations of the projects. He has also represented Chinese leading companies to form offshore entities, build facilities and engage in their finance and M&A projects. Additionally, he has represented his foreign clients in cross-bounder disputes resolution with a particular focus on foreign-related arbitration seated in numerous arbitration organizations in PRC.

He has extensive experience in dealing with complex commercial disputes, with an expertise on disputes arising out of joint venture agreement, international trade contracts, M&A and equity transfer.He is professional at advising his clients realizing their business purposes by clarifying, choosing and determining the strategy of litigation/arbitration. He is fully aware of difference between multinational jurisdictions and then coordinate for the completely enforcement of judgment or arbitration award in PRC.
