Career
Yuan Yi has been studying and working in Russia for more than 20 years, thereby understanding the Russian legal environment, commercial negotiation and management operating model, as well as obtaining PRC bar admission. She has served as investment and trade legal counsel in Russia for a number of governmental institutions such as the Chinese Embassy in Russia，Xinhua News Agency Moscow branch etc, as well as Chinese enterprises, private enterprises and Chinese merchants. She has represented a great number of mega projects, such as due diligence for Shandong Inspur Group, Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd. cooperation project in Russia, Saint Petersburg Oriental Traditional Hospital, AVIC Forestry Tomsk industrial and trade cooperation development investment project, and Zhejiang Haining Leather City Group investment and cooperation project etc.She served as Overseas-nonvoting-member of the third session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, Standing Vice-President of China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification in Russia, Chinese member of Sino-Russia Law Society Management Committee, Overseas-lawyer-member of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese legal counsel committee, and Vice-President of The Russian Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
