Senior Associate

Marie joined Birketts in April 2023 and is a Senior Associate in our Social Housing Team.

Marie qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and has over 20 years experience in housing litigation.

Marie deals with a broad range of matters to include, but not limited to, anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession claims, litigated disrepair claims, EPA claims, tenancy fraud and succession claims.

Marie has an impressive caseload representing and advising Housing Associations and Local Authorities and has established good relations with her client which have resulted in positive outcomes based on her attention to detail.  Marie takes pride in acting swiftly upon receipt of client instructions, taking into account time constraints and the facts of each individual case and has successfully obtaining numerous Mandatory Possession Orders following Closure Order and serious criminal convictions and thereafter applied to the High Court for enforcement proceedings.
