Daden  has been with the firm for 24 years and is a Partner in our Commercial Litigation Dispute Resolution Team and the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice.

He specialises in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes (including derivative actions), partnership disputes, trading disputes and disputes involving fraud.

Daden’s clients come from a wide range of business sectors both nationally and internationally, including agriculture, technology and logistics.  Daden is also experienced in acting for foreign clients as well as in helping UK clients resolve disputes in foreign jurisdictions with support from our various international contacts, including through IAG Global (a multi-disciplinary network of over 6,000 English speaking lawyers, accountants and tax advisors at independent firms in over 70 countries around the world).

Memberships

Daden was elected to the IAG Committee in May 2011 and served as Chairman between May 2015 and May 2017. He has been co-convener of the specialist litigation group since 2010. Daden remains heavily involved in IAG and is Head of Birketts’ International Team.

Daden is also a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and a board member of DanceEast, which seeks to provide the best quality dance opportunities to everyone in the East of England from world class artistic performances to teaching and training and innovative community initiatives like the Dance for Dementia programme.
