Sylvie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London (External Programme) in 2015. She distinguished herself academically, winning the prestigious Tun Hamid Omar Award for Best Overall Student in Malaysia, along with Book Prizes for Civil Procedure and Professional Practice.

She began her legal practice at Ariff Rozhan & Co as an Associate in October 2017 and was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2022 and, most recently, to Partner in January 2025. Sylvie has also been nominated as a finalist for Woman Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) at the ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2025.

Sylvie has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, handling complex, high-value disputes across commercial, corporate, and regulatory sectors. She has advised and represented clients from a diverse range of industries, including IT, finance, reinsurance, and construction, as well as in matters involving Labuan law and employment disputes.

Sylvie has appeared as Counsel and Co-Counsel in trials and hearings at all levels of the Malaysian judicial system, including the High Court and the Appellate Courts. Beyond dispute resolution, Sylvie provides strategic legal advisory services, including contract reviews and legal opinions.
