Rifat has driven corporate transformations and safeguarded some of the most dynamic deals in emerging and established markets. Rifat’s expertise spans global corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes dispute resolution. Rifat has successfully led M&A and cross-border projects valued at over US$200M, crafted risk management frameworks that measurably reduced organizational exposure, represented multinational companies in high stake litigation and arbitrations and steered companies through complex regulatory landscapes with confidence and clarity.

Rifat’s dynamic sector experience includes financial services, technology, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation, with deep exposure to both local and international regulations. Having adapted rapidly to new jurisdictions, Rifat brings a proven ability to decode legal and cultural nuances in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, adding immediate value from day one.
