Lawyer Zhang has previously worked at two "Red-Circle" law firms and served as a partner. He specializes in commercial arbitration and litigation. He has provided legal services to numerous well-known enterprises and institutions, including Peking University, Shenzhen Peking University Science Park, ByteDance, Huakong Fund, Shiyu Capital, Shuangjing Pharmaceutical, CICC Data, Harlon Aviation, and Chang'an Insurance. He has represented cases administered by various arbitration institutions such as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and Wuxi Arbitration Commission, as well as litigation cases across all levels of courts in multiple regions of China. The disputes involved span a wide range of commercial fields, including equity disputes, corporate governance, property insurance, construction engineering, international trade, film and entertainment, and artist management, with the total amount in dispute exceeding RMB 10 billion.

In 2019, Lawyer Zhang participated in the inaugural "International Arbitration Chinese Competition" organized by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), winning the championship in the Beijing division and the national runner-up.

In June 2021, Lawyer Zhang was recommended as a "Future Star" in the fields of "Commercial Disputes" and "International Arbitration" in the inaugural China edition of Benchmark Litigation.

In December 2023, Lawyer Zhang was honored with the LegalOne Stellar Accolade.

In May 2024, LegalOne awarded "Distinguished" and "Exemplary" honors to the "Entertainment Law Litigation Case" and the "VAM Arbitration Case of a Well-known Fund Company" represented by Lawyer Zhang, respectively.
