Veronica provides advice on complex employment and industrial relations matters, drawing on extensive private practice, government and judicial experience. Veronica joined KHQ in 2016 and rose to Senior Associate before leaving to undertake senior roles including with the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office. Prior to her return to KHQ, Veronica was appointed to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia as a Judicial Registrar, where she conducted mediations and presided over employment and industrial relations law proceedings.

In addition to being an AMDRAS accredited mediator, Veronica also regularly:

• appears in the Fair Work Commission, State and Federal anti-discrimination tribunals and State and Federal Courts in employment and industrial relations law proceedings;

• advises clients on the entire gamut of the employment relationship, including hiring, performance management, redundancies, change management, industrial instrument interpretation, misconduct matters and terminations of employment;

• advises clients on enterprise agreements including bargaining, drafting, protected industrial action, approvals and disputes;

• guides clients through transfers of business; and

• conducts in house mediations to assist clients with interpersonal disputes and workplace investigations.

Veronica is a former Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria's Workplace Relations Section's Executive Committee, and an active member of the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria, the Resolution Institute and Victorian Women’s Lawyers. She is passionate about serving the community, having sat on a number of not-for-profit boards and provided pro bono support to certain causes important to her, including the Pink Elephants’ Leave for Loss campaign.
