Jarrod has over 10 years’ experience in employment and workplace law, and has worked across the private and public sector in advisory, policy and litigation roles. He has a strong regulatory background, having worked for the Fair Work Ombudsman for over 4 years, as well as an extensive understanding of legislative amendments and processes.

Jarrod has advised on a range of Federal Circuit & Family Court and Federal Court matters, including complex full court appeals. He advises on a broad range of workplace relations issues, including:

• award and enterprise agreement interpretation issues and disputes

• enterprise agreement bargaining, including protected industrial action and bargaining disputes

• unfair dismissal and general protections claims before the Fair Work Commission and Federal Courts

• workplace procedures and policies, and

• the impacts of legislative amendments on employment issues.

• Jarrod adopts a pragmatic approach to providing advice, utilising his regulatory experience to find the best outcome for his clients.

Having lived in Canberra for 13 years, Jarrod has called Melbourne home since 2022. In his spare time, he likes to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer, including the footy, comedy shows and musicals.
