Adam’s practice is focused on workplace litigation and strategy. For over a decade he has assisted some of Australia’s largest companies to manage their employment and industrial relations issues. Clients trust Adam’s thoughtful and rigorous analysis of their complex issues, his practical approach and responsiveness. His experience spans a range of industries including infrastructure, energy, retail, aviation, transport and logistics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and manufacturing. 

Some examples of Adam’s experience include:  

developing and implementing enterprise bargaining strategies – including strategies aimed at changing the scope of agreements or in delivering changes necessary for substantial business investment  assisting in the analysis of large-scale pay compliance projects, including managing regulatory investigations and litigation  responding to protected and unprotected industrial action and picketing  advising on major change projects – including site relocation, outsourcing, offshoring and major restructures  litigation in the Fair Work Commission, County Court and Supreme Court, Federal Court, and Federal Circuit and Family Court in relation to a wide range of employment law and industrial disputes - including general protections, union right of entry, rostering and other industrial disputes arising under enterprise agreements, unfair dismissal applications, applications to approve, terminate and vary enterprise agreements, applications for transfer of business orders, good faith bargaining orders, bargaining disputes, stand down disputes, breach of contract, and others  drafting, interpreting, and advising on employment contracts and industrial instruments, and  dealing with issues concerning employee misconduct, performance and medical capacity.
