Senior Associate

I am an associate in our London Privacy and Data Protection Group, advising organisations on UK and EU data protection law, including GDPR and ePrivacy rules.

I have experience advising on various aspects of data protection compliance, including marketing rules, data protection considerations in commercial agreements, data subject rights and privacy-related policies and procedures. I have advised on data protection implications of innovative technologies, such as the use of biometric data and machine learning. I assist clients across different industries, focusing on the travel, technology and communications sectors.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as an integral part of the GDPR compliance programme of a leading UK airline, and also supported all areas of the business (from marketing to HR and operations) on day-to-day data protection matters. My in-house experience helps me translate legal requirements into business terms and allows me to take a pragmatic approach and put my clients' needs at the centre of my advice.

I have also worked in France and Greece, for international companies and for a European Union body, and I have an LL.M. in IP & IT law.
