Sahar is an associate based in the UAE offices. She is part of the Intellectual Property team and has extensive experience in all aspects of brand protection and portfolio management in the UAE, MENA region and internationally.

Sahar qualified as a UK Solicitor in 2022, but has nearly 15 years' experience. This experience covers trade mark prosecution, including portfolio management, mini IP audits and gap analysis, assisting brand owners to implement global brand clearance and filing strategies, in addition to handling oppositions and appeals.

Sahar also advises clients on the protection and enforcement of their trade mark rights including preparing cease & desist letters, filing complaints, coordinating investigations, coordinating and attending raids with the administrative authorities against infringers, conducting trainings to officials on behalf of brand owners and processing of all associated legal documentation.

She has advised and assisted numerous clients across a range of industries including aviation, fashion, retail, entertainment, restaurants, cosmetics, real estate, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications in their worldwide filing programmes.

Sahar is fluent in English and Arabic.
