Alberto Rodríguez is a Partner in Bird & Bird’s Corporate and M&A team in the Madrid office.

He specialises in advising national and international clients on complex M&A, venture capital and search fund transactions, with a strong focus on the technology and life sciences sectors.

Given that many of his clients operate in highly innovative or regulated industries, Alberto is accustomed to handling complex legal matters and providing creative, practical solutions as part of multidisciplinary teams.

He has acted for sellers and purchasers (including industrial companies and private equity funds), as well as for founders, investors, financing parties —including corporate ventures— and search funds. This broad experience has given him deep insight into the industries in which his clients operate.

Alberto also collaborates regularly with academic institutions and specialised publications.
