David is an Of Counsel at the Budapest office and has been practising law in Central and Eastern Europe for over 25 years.

He specialises in international and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as in private equity and real estate transactions. He also has expertise in the energy, health care and communications sectors.

He has been a guest lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University Law School in Budapest and at the Central European University Legal Studies Programme. Today he is recognised in all the leading ratings guides, including Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR 1000, as well as Best Lawyers.

He is a member of the Washington D.C. Bar, a Foreign Legal Advisor with the Budapest Bar and a member of the International Bar Association. Before joining Bird & Bird, he was the Managing Partner of the Budapest office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
