Senior Patent Attorney

Patricia is a Senior Patent Attorney in the IP team of Bird & Bird's Budapest office.

She specialises in biomedical engineering, biotechnology and computer science, and mainly deals with multidisciplinary inventions at the interface of the medical and technical industries, including computer-implemented inventions.

She has several years of experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution, technology transfers, trade secret protection, trademark law and copyright law. In addition, she has advised tech start-ups on managing open-source software and databases, preparing licensing agreements and other types of contracts.

She has assisted clients with protecting their intellectual property rights in various sectors, including life science and computer science. She has also developed IP strategies in academic and corporate fields, managed IP portfolios, as well as provided patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions.

She is the author of numerous professional papers and articles that address various complex IP-related issues, and actively shares her expertise and knowledge as a lecturer in IP law at the university level.

She is seeking admission as a European Patent Attorney.
