Cedric is a partner in our Corporate and Commercial practice in Brussels, where he combines his deep understanding of contractual issues with a pragmatic approach to challenging situations.

He advises both national and international clients during the whole process of negotiating, structuring and closing corporate and commercial partnership agreements. In addition to his work on corporate and contractual matters, he has extensive experience in dispute resolution involving court proceedings and arbitration, as well as in insolvency law. Cedric also advises on risk mitigation and pre-trial strategies. His areas of expertise cover issues relating to financial difficulties as well as rescue or restructuring initiatives.

Before joining Bird & Bird in 2012, he worked in another Brussels law firm and taught law courses at the University of Leuven.

Cedric is the author of many articles in professional legal journals and has written an extensive manual on liquidation proceedings - 'De vereffeningsprocedure' - under Belgian law.

Cedric speaks Dutch, French and English. He also has a basic understanding of German and Russian.
