As a counsel in the Brussels Corporate & Finance group, Diego has expertise in the fields of corporate, financial and commercial law, with a strong focus on M&A, restructurings and investments.

Examples include private equity and venture capital transactions but also impact funding and strategic acquisitions, as well as advising clients on (sustainable) governance and shareholders' cooperation, and dealing with directors' liability issues. Other fields Diego is passionate about are business contracts (including distribution), financial services and capital markets transactions.

As a lawyer since 2012, his leitmotif is to think out of the box while remaining surgical in all circumstances. Each case is different, but deserves to be handled with the same enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity.

Appointed as 'scientific collaborator' at the University of UCLouvain, Diego is, amongst others, currently co-authoring the new edition of a Belgian reference book on company law: Précis de droit des sociétés.

Diego is also a litigator and conference speaker in his areas of practice, and is the author of many in-depth publications in reputed legal journals and books.
