David is a corporate partner with extensive experience in M&A, private equity and real estate, advising clients on complex transactions across sectors and borders.

David advises clients on a wide range of corporate and M&A matters, with expertise in private equity and corporate real estate. His practice covers acquisitions, divestitures, management buyouts, joint ventures and strategic investments, both domestic and cross-border, across a variety of sectors.

Clients value his ability to lead complex transactions with clarity and precision. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, David has spent most of his career at international firms, where he headed both the Belgian Corporate/M&A and Real Estate departments. More recently, he has co-led the corporate, M&A and real estate teams at one of the Big 4 firms, helping clients navigate high-value deals and regulatory challenges.

David's approach is collaborative and commercially focused. He works closely with clients to understand their strategic goals and deliver tailored solutions that support long-term growth. He also regularly advises trade associations on corporate governance and structural matters, bringing a broad perspective to the evolving regulatory landscape.
