Phil acts for all four major Australian banks, non-bank lenders and private lenders in disputes, regulatory matters, enforcement and insolvency. He also acts for insolvency practitioners and counterparties across all aspects of insolvency. He is based in Brisbane.

Phil advises on commercial and company disputes including contractual claims, shareholder disputes, sale of business disputes, property disputes and consumer law claims. He has significant experience in financial services disputes, acting for major banks and lenders in enforcement actions, regulatory proceedings and insolvency matters. His practice operates across all Australian jurisdictions.

Phil acts for all four major Australian banks and a range of other lenders in contested enforcement and insolvency proceedings. His commercial litigation practice spans public mining companies, property groups, financial services providers and corporate counterparties. Matters include judicial review of licensing decisions, joint venture property disputes and recovery of misappropriated intellectual property.

Phil’s combined financial services disputes and insolvency practice, acting across all Australian jurisdictions for the four major banks and leading insolvency practitioners, positions him to handle complex multi-party enforcement proceedings with both creditor and practitioner perspectives.
