Joni acts for corporate clients, private clients and a number of Australian universities and related bodies across property and commercial matters. Her university clients engage her across the full range of their property activity, from major asset disposals and development projects to ongoing leasing and commercial arrangements.

Joni advises on acquisitions and disposals, leasing, development arrangements and commercial property transactions. She drafts and negotiates a broad range of commercial and property agreements for both landlords and tenants across commercial, retail and specialist-use properties. She also advises on collaboration agreements, tender processes, relocation arrangements and the structuring of complex development and refurbishment projects.

Joni's property practice spans major institutional clients with large and ongoing property portfolios. Her university work includes advising on the disposal of significant real property holdings, major building refurbishments, long-term leasing arrangements for iconic assets and collaborations with other tertiary institutions. She manages the full transaction lifecycle across these matters, from tender process through to settlement.

Joni combines transactional property expertise with genuine commercial understanding of the university and education sector. Her depth of experience acting for multiple universities across diverse property needs allows her to provide advice calibrated to the governance, procurement and regulatory frameworks that apply to higher education institutions.
