Peter advises financiers, borrowers, project participants and asset owners and operators across a range of finance transactions. His clients include major banks, specialist asset financiers, lessors and operators of aircraft and operators of retirement living and aged care facilities. He is based in Sydney.

Peter advises on asset finance, corporate and acquisition finance, property construction and development finance, resource project finance, and trade, commodity and receivables finance. He also advises on regulatory and banking law. In commercial law, he advises on project structuring including debt and equity participation structures, and in aviation including aircraft lease, charter, maintenance and management arrangements, and the sale and purchase of aircraft and businesses.

Peter’s transactions include a US$400 million syndicated export receivables finance facility for a coal mining consortium, the lease of over 30 aircraft under US leveraged lease and sub-lease structures for a regional airline, and receivables finance facilities for a multinational IT and telephony company. His practice spans domestic and cross-border transactions across multiple asset classes and industries.

Peter brings extensive experience across a broad range of finance sub-disciplines, with particular depth in asset finance and aviation law. His combined expertise in project structuring and finance documentation gives clients a single point of advice across complex, multi-party transactions.
