Liam acts for ASX-listed entities, sovereign wealth funds, A-REITs, property trusts, major landlords, high net worth individuals, financial institutions and administrators. His practice spans institutional and private investors, developers and corporate occupiers across all asset classes.

Liam advises on real estate capital transactions, property development with a particular focus on the community housing sector, and leasing for both landlords and tenants. He works closely with the Corporate and M&A teams on the property component of deals, with a particular interest in corporate real estate. In leasing, he regularly advises market-leading property groups and A-REITs on agreements for lease and leases of retail, office and industrial premises, finalising transactions promptly while protecting his clients' legal and commercial interests.

Liam's practice spans complex capital transactions and institutional leasing at scale. He acted for The Salvation Army as landowner in relation to Investa's development of 140 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, one of the city's most significant build-to-rent property transactions of recent years. He advises sovereign wealth funds, aged-care providers and A-REITs on major acquisitions, leasing and development structuring, and acts for financial institutions and administrators on property matters in distressed and restructuring contexts.

Liam was promoted to Partner in June 2025, having built his practice across real estate capital transactions, development, corporate real estate and institutional leasing. His focus on the community housing sector reflects a developing area of real estate transactional work, and his close integration with the Corporate and M&A practice gives him depth on the property aspects of complex corporate deals. Liam also has broad experience in negotiating national property management arrangements with leading property agencies.
