Jeff acts for Australian and international financial institutions operating in the Australian market, as well as offshore lenders and borrowers engaged in Australian transactions or the Australian aspects of cross-border arrangements.

Jeff advises on all aspects of banking and finance transactions including due diligence on businesses, assets and structures, and preparation and negotiation of facility, security, intercreditor and step-in arrangements.

His practice covers corporate lending, agribusiness finance, project finance and structured facilities, including hybrid project financing for emerging sectors.

Jeff regularly acts on facilities involving complex collateral structures including livestock, crops and water rights, as well as structured warehouse and receivables facilities.

Jeff has particular depth in agribusiness finance, advising on lending arrangements secured against farms, livestock, crops and rural infrastructure across Northern Australia and the eastern seaboard. He is recognised by various legal directories and is known for commercial insight, a client first approach and his ability to deliver within demanding transaction timelines.
