Associate Partner

Ashita is an Associate Partner at Phoenix Legal who specializes in the area of Projects, Energy and Infrastructure and Project Finance, with extensive experience in advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Ashita focuses on power (both conventional and non-conventional sources), mining, oil and gas, urban infrastructure and public private partnership sectors. She regularly advises sponsors, developers, lenders and financial institutions on the development, structuring, financing, acquisition and operation of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.

She has advised on a broad spectrum of mandates across the solar, wind, nuclear and thermal power sectors, as well as liquefied natural gas and mining projects. She has also extensively advised on projects pertaining to the development of urban infrastructure.

In addition to transactional matters, Ashita provides strategic guidance on complex project structuring, regulatory and policy framework, risk allocation and financing arrangements across the project lifecycle.

Prior to joining Phoenix Legal, Ashita was associated with Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP and Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India.
