Professional Background

Mr. Li Guangyu graduated from Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a bachelor’s degree in law, and a master’s degree in law. During his school days, he founded Peking University Law Review and served as the editor-in-chief of the first volume. Mr. Li Guangyu has practiced the law since 1996. His clients include Fortune Global 500, large state-owned enterprises, Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily and local government bodies.

Mr. Li Guangyu once served as a partner of a Fund subsidiary, participated in the design of various innovative financial products, and issued more than RMB 70 billion fixed-income products as the legal counsel. He participated in the direct management of actively managed equity funds of more than RMB 10 billion.

Professional Background

Mr. Li Guangyu serves as the legislative counsel of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress and has participated in a number of local legislations.

Since 2005, Mr. Li Guangyu has been a long-term financial commentator for the China National Radio Business Radio, a contracted observer for the CNR News Radio, a contracted commentator for Beijing TV, a commentator for the CCTV Society and Law Channel, and a commentator for the CCTV-2 “CCTV Business Review”. In 2010, the program he participated in won the Golden Mic Award, the highest award established by the National Radio and Television Administration.

Mr. Li Guangyu serves currently as a member of the Banking and Finance Law Professional Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association.
