Jacqueline was awarded the Bar Scholarship and Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship in 2013. She is recognised as a Band 2 Leading Junior for Commercial Disputes,  as well as Family and Private Client, by Legal 500 (Asia Pacific HK Bar). Jacqueline has also passed the Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination in 2023. She is developing a broad civil and commercial practice in line with Chambers’ profile with experience in arbitration-related matters, trust and probate, land and company and insolvency matters. She is also developing her practice as an arbitrator. She has been appointed as sole arbitrator by the HKIAC and is currently listed on the Main Arbitrator Panel of the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC). She is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Mainland Affairs, as well as Pupillage & Limited Practice, of the Hong Kong Bar Association.

Her arbitration practice includes being led in a 10-day RMB100m M&A misrepresentation claim (HKIAC; 2025), 4-day USD100m debt claim relating to an ASEAN project (HKIAC; 2025), 5-day USD16m put option claim relating to a Taiwanese big data company (HKIAC; 2023), 8-day RMB100m Sino-German JV dispute claim (HKIAC; 2022), and a 10-day US$1 billion partnership dispute (HKIAC; 2020). She also acted as sole advocate in a 5-day breach of shareholders’ agreement claim (HKIAC; 2015), and two arbitrations for a law firm on outstanding legal fees from former clients (HKIAC: 2018).  She has appeared led in two Emergency Arbitrations (HKIAC: 2018 and 2020), as well as various court proceedings concerning interim measures in aid of arbitration, stay of proceedings in favour of arbitration, post-award mareva injunctions and enforcement of awards.

Since joining Chambers in 2014, Jacqueline has appeared led and as sole advocate in trials concerning claims of undervalue transactions, common intention constructive trust, mortgages, adverse possession, loss of cross-border vehicle licence, torts of maintenance and champerty, administration of estate, and ownership of properties (land and company shares). She has experience in handling contested applications involving summary judgment, stay of proceedings, examination and production orders in the context of liquidation, removal of executor and estate accounts, specific discovery and expunge of documents, charging order, striking out, expert evidence and injunctions.

Jacqueline is a contributing editor of Hong Kong Civil Procedure and has delivered seminars on international arbitration, family law, planning law and the law of unjust enrichment.

Before pupillage at DVC, Jacqueline graduated with a First in LLB from the University of Hong Kong, ranking second in her year.  Following this, she received the highest marks in the PCLL Litigation Stream and the matrimonial practice course.  She went on to obtain the BCL from the University of Oxford (ranking first in her Commercial Remedies class) with the support of the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship for Overseas Studies.
