Senior Associate

Kirsteen is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Dispute Resolution team.

She is recommended for her debt recovery work by The Legal 500. She has extensive experience in debt recovery actions, including protective diligence and enforcement action, both in Scotland and in other jurisdictions, and of handling litigation stemming from debt recovery disputes, for businesses and individuals, at the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session.

Kirsteen is frequently instructed by RSLs, companies, private clients and other law firms in debt recovery and on a wide range of litigation matters.

Kirsteen also has a strong insolvency litigation focus, regularly acting for insolvency practitioners in this area.

She holds the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (Scotland) qualification, from the Insolvency Practitioners Association. The CPI is a respected qualification and one which very few Scottish solicitors possess, providing added value for Kirsteen’s clients.

Affiliate member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and of the Institute of Credit Management.

Enjoys taking part in and watching all types of sports, especially tennis, hockey and running. She has completed the Edinburgh, Belfast and New York (x2) marathons for charity. Also enjoys travelling, especially city breaks worldwide.
