Position

Celia Jenkins joined Tuli & Co in 2006 and heads the Firm’s non-contentious practice. She specialises in insurance regulatory advisory, product development, and commercial work for Insurers, Reinsurers, intermediaries, as well as general clients.

Her insurance regulatory practice spans end-to-end market entry and distribution strategies, product development across all lines of business, ongoing compliance support (including regulatory audits and checklists, and reinsurance advisory for entities operating in India and the GIFT City. She also advises Insurers and intermediaries on regulatory enforcement actions and provides strategic support in appeals before the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT). Her commercial advisory practice includes conducting due diligences, advising on RBI and FEMA regulations for cross-border insurance transactions, labour law, and structuring advice for insurance ventures.
