Career

Ian heads TSMP’s Employment & Labour team and is a partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, practising both international arbitration and corporate and commercial litigation. Ian specialises in complex transactional, advisory and contentious employment and immigration law, particularly on issues of non-competition, dismissal, discrimination, harassment, retirement & re-employment, industrial relations, and data protection and confidentiality. He counts among his clients multinationals including Bombardier, Danone, IBM, Marsh and Samsung, as well as C-Suite executives.

Ian is the lead author for the Singapore chapters of the international publications The Employment Law Review and Getting the Deal Through – Labour & Employment, as well as the Employment Contracts chapter of Law Relating to Specific Contracts in Singapore.
