Mai is an Of Counsel based in the Hanoi office. Mai has more than 20 years of experience practising corporate and commercial law, including experience working in a leading legal consultancy services provider in Vietnam, as an associate with a large global law firm working in its Hanoi office, and two years working with a ‘Magic Circle’ firm, in its Hanoi office.

Mai’s key areas of practice include corporate and M&A transactions across a wide range of industry sectors, including power and energy, banking and finance; education; hospitality and tourism; manufacturing; real estate; retail; and technology, media, and telecoms.

Mai has assisted numerous investors in relation to their investments in Vietnam, including advising on the structuring of proposed business operations in Vietnam. She has also provided numerous clients with regulatory advice and assistance with respect to general corporate matters in relation to their day-to-day operations, including employment and commercial matters.

She is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association and the Vietnam Lawyers Association.

Mai graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Hanoi National University, Faculty of Law. In the same year, she also obtained a bachelor’s degree in English from the Hanoi University of Foreign Studies.
