Michael leads the Intellectual Property (IP) and Mobility practices at Tiruchelvam Associates, where he expertly navigates the complexities of all forms of IP protection, enforcement and commercialisation, as well as immigration and mobility solutions. He is recognised for his strategic and commercially minded approach to legal problem solving and regularly advises multinational corporations, luxury brands, high-net-worth individuals and emerging businesses.

Michael has extensive experience in trade mark prosecution and enforcement, anti counterfeiting actions, copyright, advertising law, domain name disputes and cross-border IP portfolio management. In the mobility sphere, he advises on residency, work permits, investor migration and complex immigration matters involving multinational corporations and foreign nationals relocating to Sri Lanka.
