Position

Partner Roger Inman specialises in all pupil provision issues, notably special educational needs and disability (SEND). A recognised national specialist regarding special educational needs law, Roger works as a Judge in the SEN (HESC) Tribunal as well as in his role in Stone King.

Roger also specialises in school governance and re-organisation (notably multi-academy trusts) and often advises on the strategic development of trust boards and DfE intervention in school governance. He has been advising on school and college governance for over 25 years and is on the Advisory Board for the Academy Trust Governance Code.

Roger also contributes to the Education Sector more generally by working closely with national school and college membership organisations on a broad range of education sector issues, notably with the Confederation of Schools Trusts and the Association of Colleges.

First Tier Tribunal Judge in the SEN (HESC) Tribunal since 2019.
