Karima is a corporate partner focussing on private M&A, joint ventures, restructurings and general corporate advice. She advises a wide range of industries. She has a particular focus on healthcare and has also advised clients in other sectors including the maritime sector. She is well known in the private healthcare sector and has advised numerous operators and investors in the space including, Intriva Capital, HC-One, Apposite Capital, Salutem Healthcare, Circle Health, Clinical Outcomes Solutions LLC and the London Women’s Clinic.

Karima also assists other parts of the firm in respect of M&A, corporate advice and restructurings. She led on the cross-border corporate reorganisation by the global conglomerate John Swire & Sons Limited, and its Singapore based subsidiary The China Navigation Company Pte. Ltd of its dry bulk shipping and liner shipping businesses into two distinct corporate groups.

She has also assisted the restructuring and insolvency team on transactions including the sales of both Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool football clubs.
