Commercial Litigation

Paul is a member of our commercial litigation practice and of the firm's professional and management liability and restructuring and insolvency groups.

Paul has a particular focus on disputes claims involving professional services firms (including the Big 4), insolvency professionals and insolvent companies. He has spent time on secondment with a Big 4 firm, dealing with a range of litigation, regulatory and risk management issues.

Paul's recent work includes: the defence of numerous tax negligence claims (including acting for two Big 4 firms on claims worth over £60 million and £15 million respectively); defending insolvency practitioners in relation to claims for negligence and misfeasance; and acting for a company's liquidators in proceedings before the Supreme Court.

Paul also has extensive experience acting in a range of high value commercial disputes for clients across multiple sectors.
