Christine is a construction and commercial litigator with 20 years' experience across residential, commercial and infrastructure asset classes and government.

In residential, she advises developers, builders, specialist contractors, consultants and owners corporations on complex construction and compliance matters, including issues under the Home Building Act, the Strata Schemes Management Act, the Residential Apartment Buildings (Compliance and Enforcement) Act and the Design and Building Practitioners Act. She also acts for owners, owners corporations and builders in residential building disputes, including contract disputes and claims for breach of statutory warranty, in multi-party proceedings and proceedings in the NCAT jurisdiction.

In commercial and infrastructure, Christine advises contractors, subcontractors, project managers, end-users and landlords on construction disputes, contract performance issues, defects claims and security of payment matters. She has acted in complex multi-party disputes across road, water, rail, mining and industrial projects and provides guidance on risk allocation and defects claims.

In the public sector, Christine advises government agencies on construction, compliance and regulatory matters, including project disputes, contractual risks and statutory interpretation. She has acted in numerous high-profile inquiries, investigations and reviews and has represented clients in complex litigation and arbitration.
