With more than a decade of specialist experience, Megan is a trusted adviser to employers, directors and senior leaders on all aspects of employment, industrial relations and work health and safety law. She has particular industry expertise in media, professional services, construction, prestige and luxury goods and automotive, cash-in-transit, tourism, superannuation and health.

Megan regularly appears in State and Federal courts, tribunals and the Fair Work Commission and is known for her discreet management of highly litigious and complex claims. Her practice covers the full spectrum of  employment law, including advising on workplace complaints such as bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination, managing misconduct, performance issues and ill or injured employees, drafting and reviewing executive and employment contracts and policies, and advising on post-employment issues.

She has significant experience in employment and industrial litigation, including right of entry disputes and high-profile sexual harassment, discrimination and vilification matters, and is highly experienced in defending general protections, unfair dismissal and unlawful termination disputes, including successfully pursuing jurisdictional objections to eliminate proceedings prior to a substantive hearing.

Megan’s practice also includes guiding employers, directors and safety managers through critical incidents, including regulatory investigations and work health and safety prosecutions. She also assists employers to navigate interactions with regulators, including the Fair Work Ombudsman, in relation to compliance issues and underpayments.
