Stephen has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of workplace relations and safety as well as partnership law.

He advises on all workplace relations issues and procedures, and among others, has particular expertise in respect of advising on all forms of senior executive issues such as options, bonus entitlements, directorships and shareholdings. He also has extensive experience in advising on and litigating restraints of trade and related protection of business issues.

Stephen acts for employers and government organisations in proceedings in State and Federal Tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission, as well as, State and Federal Courts. He has deep experience in dismissal proceedings, general protections proceedings, unlawful discrimination claims and a broad range of other types of proceedings.

In addition, Stephen offers guidance on director and officer work health and safety issues and has handled complex investigations, reviews and other inquiries of a wide variety as well as defended prosecutions. He also provides strategic advice on governance obligations for boards and senior management.
