Ms. Hye Jung Ryu is a partner in the M&A Team at Jipyong and mainly advises and represents domestic and international clients in the areas of corporate, public administration, and construction and real estate.

Ms. Ryu, with a Ph.D. in political science from Russia’s Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), specializes in Russian transactions. Ms. Ryu has a diverse and unique experience in advising clients involved in transactions and disputes regarding overseas investment, resources, energy, environment and overseas construction. Ms. Ryu heads the Russia / Central Asia Team, and also is a member of both Iran / Middle East and North Korea Teams.

Ms. Ryu is a member of the Korean Bar. Ms. Ryu has a Ph. D from Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) and a B.Soc.Sc. in Social Work from Seoul National University. She also worked at a British real estate consulting firm and taught at universities before joining Jipyong.
