Ms. Yoon Jeong Jang had been selected as the two most watched female attorneys of 2002. Ms. Jang has an extensive list of cases in which she successfully advised her clients: acquisition of Sammi Integrated Special Steel Co. by Incheon Steel (currently Hyundai BNG Steel); investment in Freechal by GE; split sale of PJ Industry; sale of Chohung Investment Trust Management, investment in SuKwang Corporation by La Chemise Lacoste; acquisition of LG Chemical by M.Dohmen Korea Ltd.; merger of Haitai Confectionary & Foods Co., Ltd. by Crown Confectionary Co., Ltd.; acquisition of STX Heavy Industries shares by the Military Mutual Aid Association; investment in Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. by the Military Mutual Aid Association; CMI’s investment in Emerson Pacific, and asset transfer for SK Airgas, etc.

Ms. Jang also offered legal advices in the areas of securities and finance, including: establishment of a limited liability SPC and issuing overseas bond by Cerberus; issuing of overseas BW by Koro Voltin Fund; enticing foreign investment to Cheongna District by Public Officials Benefit Association; project financing for Innovalley in Pangyo Techno Valley, and asset securitization for KTB Investment Securities.

In the area of intellectual property, Ms. Jang handled many related cases regarding trademark disputes and advising and litigating copyright-related issues (cinematographic works, program work, character works, font works, etc.), as well as consultation on new technologies including fintech, e-banking and IT technologies.
