Vicki was a medical solicitor with over 40 years’ experience whose role now at Tees is to review new enquiries . She founded her own legal firm “Scrivenger Seabrook” in 1989 and was managing director until October 2019 when she transferred her business to Tees. She specialises in all medical negligence claims and strives to deliver the best possible service for each and every client, drawing upon a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Career

She qualified in 1979 and worked as a lawyer at The Royal College of Nursing. She left The Royal College of Nursing in 1985 and worked for several firms in London specialising in clinical negligence work. Her experience working as a lawyer in the field of personal injury led to 6 years acting as a solicitor at the Royal College of Nursing where she wrote “Patient Lifting: A Guide For Nurse Managers”. She is proud to have helped to prevent injury and change the lives of so many nurses who are at risk of injury themselves; she views this as the greatest achievement of her professional career. She went on to set up Scrivenger Seabrook in April 1989 before merging with Tees in October 2019. Today, Vicki reviews new enquiries for Tees Medical Negligence team.
