Senior Associate

Atty. Lawrence Ivan Manalo is a Senior Associate in Villaraza & Angangco’s Labor & Employment Department. He regularly assists clients in navigating Philippine employment law, supporting compliance initiatives, advising on disciplinary actions and employee separation, and providing strategic, practical guidance across a broad range of workplace matters.

He first joined the Firm as a Junior Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, before moving in-house as Senior Corporate Legal Counsel of a prominent local, multi-industry conglomerate with key interests in power generation, agribusiness, and real estate development. In that role, he supported executive leadership on employment-related concerns, including employee discipline, outsourcing and subcontracting arrangements, and workforce and organizational management.

Atty. Manalo returned to the Firm in 2025, bringing a broadened perspective and deeper, on-the-ground insight from his in-house experience.
